What if the outside temperature is real cold (like - 15 degrees Fahrenheit) ?

Outdoor Temperature = -15 F (degrees Fahrenheit)

Ideal Temperature Range Inside the Freezer = -5 F to -10 F

Ideal Temperature Range Inside the Refrigerator = +34 F to +38 F

In Fig. 1, the refrigerator & freezer both are at ideal temperature and both passages (a & b) are closed. In Fig. 2 the refrigerator has gotten too warm & passage b is opened. In Fig. 3 the freezer has gotten too warm & passage a is opened.
